Media Producer / Coordinator
Description:
Full-Time Contractor Position
Opening: Immediate
Rate: 28.00/hr
Location: New York City Office
3-5 years preferred
In-house agency seeking full-time contractor to fill a dual role position of Media Producer / Coordinator. Though part of a much larger group, your on-site team is very small where we each wear many hats. So if you are interested in flexing all of your skills and or are interested in learning new ones while working in a busy but relaxed environment, this could be a good fit for you.
The Projects
Projects range anywhere from multi-cam interviews, events, live-stream events, product demo, animation, visual effect driven projects, promo pieces, video highlights, photography shoots, mini docs, event opener pieces, generally anything video.
The projects themselves aren't terribly large and or usually complicated, there can be just a lot of them. For instance, you may go from handling 5-10 projects to 20-30 in a few weeks time. Our work resides within a busy corporate structure where project variables and scope frequently change, often overnight. As such, you will need to have the skills of a multi-tasking ninja made of titanium skin and yet have the diplomacy and tranquility of a gentle giant.
The Work.
As a Coordinator, a large part of your day will be tracking projects progress, supporting the Video Production Manager (your team lead) on logistics while also managing comms between us (video team), hired production teams, the project managers, talent, and our clients. As a Media Producer, you will oversee each project end-to-end, from kick-off and inception, to production, then post and delivery. This requires your creative and technical input and can often require concepting and pitching ideas to clients, developing scripts, working with production team to ensure the creative is being met, and work alongside the editor overseeing the post production.
