This is a Full Time Unpaid Internship

Summer Internship with Great Performances/SundayArts/Reel 13

Interns are needed to support the Emmy Award-winning PBS series GREAT PERFORMANCES and WNET's local SUNDAYARTS and REEL 13 programs in all aspects of production. This is an excellent opportunity for students or recent graduates to gain first-hand experience working within a television production unit.

Responsibilities include:

Research
Transcription
Screening tapes
Photo/film licensing
Archiving and filing
Tape duplication

There will also be opportunities for involvement in the production and post-production processes; assisting with local shoots and observing edits and recording sessions.

Candidates should have a strong interest in television production and the arts, preferably with broadcasting production or office experience. Strong writing and research skills are a plus. Interns should be detail-oriented, able to work independently and have a positive attitude.

Hours: Full-time (40h/wk) internships are strongly preferred, but part-time situations are possible. Hours are flexible.
