POST-PRODUCTION INTERN
Founded in 2006 by executive producer John Ramsay, VFX artist Wren Waters, and editor Doobie White, Therapy Studios is an Emmy award-winning production and post-production company in Culver City, CA. With work ranging from long-form television and feature films to commercials and music videos, the company's client roster includes global brands like Google, Pepsi, Amazon, Activision, Kia, and Target, as well as major artists OK GO, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, A Tribe Called Quest, The 1975 and The Foo Fighters. Therapy has also produced original content from feature documentaries like Transcendent Man and Sound City to docu-series Sonic Highways on HBO.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our post-production team as an intern. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment, and get hands-on experience in post-production.
Responsibilities:
Assisting team members with various post-production tasks
Learning and implementing industry-specific skills and knowledge
Assisting in video editing and audio mixing
Assisting in color correction and color grading
Assisting in compositing and visual effects
Conducting research and analysis
Providing administrative support
Helping to maintain the office environment
Daily runs, i.e. shipping packages, dropping of drives, grocery store, picking up lunches, etc.
Qualifications:
Preferably enrolled in a related field of study (e.g. film, video production, media studies, etc.)
Strong communication and organizational skills
Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro or Avid Media Composer
Knowledge in audio mixing and color correction software such as Adobe Audition and DaVinci Resolve
Ability to work well in a team environment
Strong attention to detail
Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
Must be available minimum 2 full days a week
Must have a car and a valid driver's license. Mileage to be reimbursed monthly.
