We are looking for a part-time Junior Social Media Manager who is passionate, driven & proactive. This position has the possibility of turning into a full-time position for the right candidate. Creative, resourceful, forward thinking and committed. This includes driving brand awareness, linear tune-in, and user acquisition to digital experiences and select digital products. The ideal candidate has a passion for building and nurturing fandoms and knows how to do so with strategic marketing and media tactics. Help develop marketing campaigns for our shows, and research, explore, and discuss the most exciting trends in digital every day.
WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
Create/execute paid media plans -- inclusive of flighting, target parameters, investment, unit mix-- across all social platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, TikTok, Pinterest, etc.)
Create and execute a comprehensive social media strategy for the company's leadership team
Source and curate copy, graphics, hashtags and all related assets to establish an authentic social media presence for various leaders that includes a distinct voice as well as aesthetically pleasing and forward-thinking content
Use social media to drive awareness of Zeus Network's initiatives
Respond to breaking news, trends and events with an understanding of when is an appropriate time to join the conversation
Brainstorm and execute key proactive social media engagement and executive appearances across all core and emerging platforms
Assist with concise copy writing and editing for communications messaging, including announcements, statements and more
Be able to photoshop/edit video/photo content for content on social media. Liaise between the graphic design and post team to create social media content.
Manage budgets on a campaign, quarter, and annual level and track all paid social media spend.
2+ years working in digital/social media marketing, Communications, or relevant field
Someone who already knows the content that The Zeus Network produces
- WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING: TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES
Experience managing a public-facing social media account
Expert knowledge of the self-service buying tools of all major social platforms
Strong eye for creative
Experience using GoogleAds for YouTube buying and search
Demonstrated self-starter with the ability to handle multiple projects, prioritize work assignments, meet deadlines, and work independently in a fast-paced environment
Strong writer with attention to detail who can gather information and communicate it effectively in our voice
Ability to work quickly and effectively under pressure
Familiarity with social media audiences and analytical skills for measuring and tracking success on social
Passion for, and deep knowledge of reality tv, film, music artists and key players in the entertainment industry
Deep knowledge of traditional and digital/social media channels
Proficiency with image and video editing is a major plus (Please include any links to samples you have created)
Excellent PowerPoint and Excel skills
