This is a Part Time Job
The World Poker Tour Accounting Clerk is highly proactive and takes initiative. This individual works both independently with minimal supervision and collaborates as part of the Studios and Finance team. This individual relies on their analytical and critical thinking skills, combined with technical skills. This individual possesses strong functional knowledge of bookkeeping, financial tracking, invoicing and AR/AP. This position reports to the Director of Distribution and Ad Sales.
This is a part-time role with the possibility to transition to full-time with an hourly rate of $22-$25 dependent on experience.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• The Studio Accounting Clerk supports the Studios department and liaises with Production, Distribution and Finance.
• Prepare pre-production crew deal memos, manage all aspects of accounts payable for distribution and production including creating invoices and updating ACH info.
• Track Accounts Receivable and Payable for Production and Distribution, acting as a collections agent when needed.
• Assist in the gathering and submission of tax documents necessary for vendor setup and proper tax reporting.
• Assist and review expense reports, identify coding distribution of confidential financial documents.
• Provide administrative support to the VP Studio, and Director of Distribution and Ad Sales.
• Interface with corporate finance.
• Access reporting portals for both internal and external partners. Collect, aggregate, and prepare third-party OTT platform & Nielsen rating reports for VP of Studio and Director of Ad Sales and Distribution on a monthly and quarterly basis.
Qualifications:
• 6 months - 2 years of experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic and high-volume administrative role within the entertainment industry, with some analytical responsibilities
• Must be excellent and proficient with PC and Microsoft Office software is mandatory, including PowerPoint, Excel, and Teams
• Candidates must be motivated, extremely organized and detail oriented, have excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality for highly sensitive materials and details is key
• Strong follow through and able to anticipate issues before they arise
• Ability to multitask and juggle many competing priorities efficiently
• Excellent critical thinking skills
• Must be willing submit to a background investigation
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
• Required On-Site: This position is required to be performed part-time from a World Poker Tour-designated worksite
