This is a Part Time Unpaid Internship
West Village Musical Theatre Festival is currently seeking interns for the Summer. Interns will assist Executive Director and Artistic Director, as needed. Interns will primarily serve as Production Assistants during the weeks leading up to the festival, working closely with producers, directors, and actors. Other responsibilities include managing database of WVMTF participants, responding to production inquiries, distribution of creative material, updating social media sites, etc. Interns will also need to be available the week of the festival to assist with load-in, strike, dress rehearsal, tech rehearsal, etc.
Interns will be exposed firsthand to the producing aspect of New York City theater in a full Off-Broadway theater. With time, we encourage interns to take on additional responsibilities within the company.
