Partnership Marketing , Associate Manager
The flagship direct-to-consumer streaming service from Disney, Disney+, offers an ever-growing collection of exclusive originals, including feature-length films, documentaries, live-action and animated series, and short-form content.
With unprecedented access to Disney's long history of incredible film and television entertainment, Disney+ is also the exclusive streaming home for the newest releases from The Walt Disney Studios. Disney+ is available as a standalone streaming service or as part of bundled offerings, including Disney bundle plans in the U.S. that give subscribers access to Disney+ and Hulu or Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN.
The Associate Manager, Partnership Marketing will play a critical role in managing small to midsized device and distribution partners supported by the Global Partnership Marketing team.
Key Responsibilities:
Partner Relationship Management:
• Act as the main day-to-day contact for assigned partners, helping to build strong, collaborative relationships that support shared success that align with team and company goals.
• Work closely with partners by regularly communicating programming priorities, for Disney+, ESPN DTC and the Bundle to keep everyone informed and aligned.
• Responsible for executing marketing campaigns around key title tentpoles that drive acquisition, engagement and retention for SVOD services.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
• Build strong relationships with internal teams-including but not limited to creative, legal, programming, product marketing, business development, technical account and regional marketing teams -to coordinate campaign assets, approvals, and timelines to ensure timely delivery to partners.
Team Operations:
• Demonstrate strong project management skills to oversee team reporting and manage asset requests and delivery workflows. Ensure operational efficiency and clear communication across all internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong eye for detail, ensuring accuracy and consistency across all deliverables for internal and external partners.
Leadership support:
• Support senior leadership by preparing campaign updates, delivering insights through reporting, proactively anticipating needs, and providing tactical support for high-priority partner accounts.
Team Player mindset:
• Work collaboratively by contributing ideas and supporting colleagues by sharing best practices and key learning about partners with stakeholders internationally.
• Contribute to special projects and high-impact initiatives as assigned by leadership, often involving cross-functional collaboration and strategic visibility.
Qualifications:
• At least 3 years of experience in partner marketing within a subscription-based or direct-to-consumer business, brand marketing, or integrated marketing-preferably in media, streaming, or consumer technology; agency experience supporting similar clients is also valued.
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field required/preferred or work experience
• Strong understanding of the OTT, SVOD, and CTV landscape, along with digital marketing, partner ecosystems, and growth strategies.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external partners at all levels, including cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
• Adaptable, flexible, and proactive, with a solution-oriented mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners
• Analytical mindset with experience using campaign data to inform future strategies.
• Ability to contribute to a positive, inclusive team culture, actively sharing knowledge, supporting colleagues, and working toward collective success.
Additional Qualities:
• Experience supporting international markets or collaborating with global stakeholders is a plus
• Passion for innovation and creative problem-solving to drive marketing success and unlock new partnership opportunities.
The hiring range for this position in NYC, NY is $89,900 - $120,500 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
