Paid Media Specialist
The Growth Marketing team is tasked with driving global subscriber growth for Disney+ and Disney's streaming bundles. The team is responsible for the planning, execution and optimization of subscriber acquisition and performance marketing campaigns. The ideal candidate has an in-depth knowledge of and passion for digital media and the constantly evolving mar-tech landscape.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement paid social strategies to drive subscriber acquisition, conversion & efficiency
• Successfully apply paid social strategy and manage within social channels (i.e. Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, YouTube, etc.)
• Oversee strategy, campaign structure, paid media optimizations, and ad content (including strategic recommendations on creative content and messaging)
• Execute and optimize YouTube campaigns, including campaign set-up, audience segmentation, creative testing, and advanced bidding strategies to maximize efficiency and impact
• Optimize budget across platforms and tactics (including YouTube TrueView, Shorts, and in-stream ads) to deliver positive return on marketing spend
• Research, develop, and test new audience segments (i.e. retargeting, lookalikes, custom audiences, custom intent, etc.)
• Recommend new paid social and YouTube strategies, including potential influencer and creator collaborations
• Develop and implement QA process across all platforms
• Excellent strategic planning skills with the ability to identify, prioritize, and articulate high impact paid media campaigns and initiatives
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, supporting new products/businesses backed by a proven large-scale media property
Qualifications
• At least 2 years of paid social advertising experience, including YouTube
• Global experience preferred
• Deep knowledge of & mastery of social platforms, including YouTube Ads Manager/Google Ads, TikTok, Meta & Snap
• Experience with 3rd party campaign management platforms (i.e. Smartly)
• Must have experience with direct response campaigns and performance-driven buying
• Ability to partner with an analytics team to use real-time data, testing, and campaign learnings to effectively optimize and manage campaigns
• Ability to strategically assess new opportunities and make data-driven decisions resulting in tangible improvements in performance
• Flexibility & ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• A strong communicator with a can-do, positive attitude and a strong desire to get things done
• Global and international media planning/buying experience
• Sense of humor and desire to have fun!
