Job Title: Manager, Physical Production

Job Summary:
The Manager of Physical Production will support the Head of Physical Production, Post Production, and VFX in overseeing film production. Responsibilities include managing relationships with department heads, conducting script analysis, coordinating production logistics, and ensuring compliance with studio policies.
Responsibilities:
• Support the executive team in the production of films
• Perform script breakdowns for sets, cast, locations, and sequence costs
• Maintain relationships with department heads and track availabilities for upcoming productions
• Develop in-house production schedules and manage compliance training for productions
• Oversee production setup, including location clearance and production office support
• Ensure timely updates of tracking and deal point sheets for Below the Line staff
• Draft contracts for department heads and work with legal teams to ensure compliance
• Supervise the department internship program, providing mentorship and overseeing intern responsibilities
• Manage round-robin meetings with Studio Departments and filmmakers to ensure consistent policies across productions
• Handle ad hoc projects for production executives
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Film Production or equivalent experience
• 5+ years working in Film Production
• Outstanding written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively and in supervisory roles
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), SAP, Mac & PC, Movie Magic Scheduling, budgeting, and Final Draft
Salary:
