The Content Security organization is focused on protecting the magic – we ensure that all film and episodic content is protected and does not leak. We do this by employing the best practices from the world of Cyber Security, technology and a deep understanding of the world of media and entertainment creative workflows.
We are looking for a Content Security Engineer – a curious and driven early-career professional who's excited to grow in the intersection of technology and storytelling. The successful candidate is someone who brings strong fundamentals in security or cloud infrastructure and a passion for working alongside creative technologists. RESPONSIBILITIES
• Support technical assessments of internal and third-party content platforms and workflows.
• Assist with security configuration reviews of SaaS, cloud, and on-prem environments used throughout the production and distribution lifecycle.
• Contribute to remediation recommendations & guidelines based on our findings, under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Track assessment progress, findings, and documentation using internal tooling, Jira, and Confluence.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to consult & apply security guidelines/standards to editing, transfer, and streaming platforms.
• Monitor alerts and threat intel feeds related to studio tools and content workflows.
• Perform basic source code, API, or configuration reviews with approved tooling.
• Contribute to secure configuration guides and internal documentation.
• Participate in training sessions to develop skills in cloud security, AI safety, and secure application development practices
• Provide support during studio events, vendor security reviews, or special content protection projects.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or related field or equivalent years of work experience.
• 3 years of experience in cybersecurity, infrastructure, or cloud operations.
• Foundational understanding of security principles such as least privilege, segmentation, and secure configurations.
• Familiarity with cloud environments such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Basic scripting or automation skills (e.g., Python, Bash, or PowerShell).
• Interest in application security, secure development practices, and media workflows.
• Strong attention to detail and clear communication skills in documentation and coordination.
• Eagerness to learn and collaborate in a multidisciplinary, fast-moving environment.

The hiring range for this position in Glendale, CA is $104,600 to $140,200 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
