The Walt Disney Company is seeking a Vice President, Workforce of the Future to serve as a senior strategic advisor, shaping how Disney evolves its talent strategies for the next generation of creativity and innovation. This role operates at the highest levels of the organization, partnering across divisions to design and drive enterprise-wide workforce strategies. The ideal candidate will combine data fluency, consulting rigor, and human capital expertise to influence leaders and mobilize teams toward measurable, future-focused outcomes.
Responsibilities:
As the Vice President, Workforce of the Future, you will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and advisory to HR leaders and senior executives across Disney's business segments. Your role is crucial in defining and refining the company's multi-year "Workforce of the Future" strategy, shaping the vision for talent attraction, development, and retention amid changing business models and emerging technologies. This role matters because it ensures Disney remains at the forefront of innovation and creativity, requiring skills such as strategic thinking, data-driven insights, and influential leadership.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to HR leaders and senior executives, helping define Disney's multi-year "Workforce of the Future" strategy.
• Shape the vision for talent attraction, development, and retention amid changing business models and emerging technologies.
• Provide insights and recommendations to anticipate future skill needs and optimize workforce planning and structure.
• Lead development and interpretation of workforce analytics and predictive modeling to inform strategic decisions.
• Partner with People Analytics, Finance, and Strategy teams to connect workforce insights with business outcomes.
• Apply a consulting mindset to diagnose organizational challenges, frame options, and mobilize change.
• Leverage influencing skills to drive alignment and action across business units without direct authority.
• Advise on enterprise talent acquisition, internal mobility, and upskilling strategies to prepare Disney for future demands.
• Influence the evolution of Disney's employer brand and employee value proposition.
• Recommend approaches to embed agility, inclusivity, and digital capability into the workforce experience.
• Inspire individual and business success by clearly communicating the "why" behind business decisions.
• Provide continuous coaching and feedback, ensuring individuals can reach their highest potential.
Required Qualifications
• 10+ years of progressive experience in management consulting, strategic HR, or workforce strategy.
• Experience in top-tier consulting firms (e.g., Bain, McKinsey, BCG, Deloitte, or Accenture) strongly preferred.
• Proven ability to drive measurable results through influence, collaboration, and executive advisory.
• Demonstrated success in shaping and implementing large-scale workforce or talent initiatives with quantifiable impact.
• Deep expertise in data-driven workforce analysis, trend forecasting, and scenario planning.
• Exceptional communication, storytelling, and executive presence skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Human Resources, or related field.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience within media, entertainment, or technology sectors.
• Understanding of trends shaping the future of work-AI, automation, digital collaboration, and flexible work models.
• Demonstrated ability to operate effectively across highly matrixed, global organizations.
• Master's degree (MBA or equivalent) a plus.
