The Diversity, Equity & Inclusion team serves as a center of excellence for the enterprise, leading the development of a shared DEI vision and integrated business strategy, partnering with leadership across lines of business and global markets, providing subject matter expertise on relevant inclusion practices, and enhancing our inclusion brand both inside and outside the company.
The VP, DEI - Inclusive Workforce reports to the SVP and Chief Diversity Officer for The Walt Disney Company and is responsible for leading a team that aligns, integrates, and promotes enterprise-wide inclusive and equitable processes, policies, and practices across the employee life cycle to build a diverse, high-performing workforce drawn from all segments of our global society that is represented at all levels of the Walt Disney Company.
Responsibilities
include:
DEI Data Governance:
• Use data to clarify opportunities for focus in the short and mid-term
• Leverage root cause/barrier analyses and studies to identify and propose solutions for any potential policies or practices that prevent equality of opportunity
• Develop metrics/dashboards in partnership with Insights COE, providing better transparency of company performance and progress
• Ensure business segments have access to the right data and analytics at the right time
• Partner with Insights team to engage and hear from our employees, Cast, leaders and employment candidates through focused survey tools
• Build our research capability about external trends in DEI, with a focus on the trends that matter the most to our culture and businesses
• Use analytics to create diverse segmentation and modeling globally so that business leaders can engage with their teams in targeted ways
• Manage cycle of DEI Company-wide reporting/disclosures, such as Proxy, CSR and OPF's
• Drive TWDC reputation efforts in the external market through surveys, recognition, etc.
• Provide actionable insights on social/human rights issues
Advance Equity in HR Processes, Practices, Policies and Systems:
• Drives strategic planning in partnership with Talent Solutions, Talent Acquisition, Employee Relations, Legal and Learning & Development to reduce bias from and increase equity in company HR practices and policies
• Support HR counterparts in the development of new talent processes that promote systematic inclusion of diverse talent at all levels
• Partner with Talent Acquisition and Internal Mobility to ensure DEI is embedded in recruitment and mobility processes and practices
• Support Talent Acquisition's Outreach and Engagement partnerships and recruiting initiatives
• Provide consultation to Workforce Technology on the Digital applicant and Employee Experience and HR-AI enterprise strategy
Subject Matter Expert within TWDC:
• Serve as trusted counsel to business leaders on DEI matters
• Champion employer branding efforts to attract the best talent that reflects our market
• Partner closely with Communications to develop an ongoing and inspiring narrative about our progress against our strategies
• Maintain a deep understanding of segment business priorities
• Support Legal/GPP/TA/ER on DEI-law/regulation considerations in people policies to ensure compliance

include:

Preferred education:
• Masters' degree in related field
The hiring range for this position in California and New York is $252,000 to $337,900 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
