Talent Solutions Specialist (Project Hire)
Purpose
• Prepare TWDC for new opportunities and the changing market place by supporting the planning, piloting and implementation of Talent Solutions work (e.g. D Achieve), including approaches and tools that enable increasing levels of performance for a diverse mix of talent
• Enable leadership effectiveness by supporting the organization's capability to grow, align, assess, and engage talent in support of business priorities
• Drive employee engagement by supporting the piloting and implementation of a strengths-based approach to planning career and work. Enable Quality Conversations that lead to a feedback-rich culture that helps employees perform at optimal levels, achieve their potential for growth, and feel valued by the company
Position Objectives
• Actively engage with the TS CoE team in the effective research, planning, project management, design and implementation of enterprise talent management processes and systems (e.g. D Achieve)
• Develop and implement Project Management, Change Management/Communication and Learning materials in support of the effective and timely planning and implementation of enterprise-wide Talent Solutions
• Leverage effective partnerships with HRBPs and other HR functions to support appropriate customization, delivery support, tool transfer and education strategies for talent management initiatives
• Partner with People Insights toward development of tools and resources for the delivery of metrics / reporting
• Support the development and implementation of technology tools through partnership and integration with HR Technology and User Experience Partners. Bring each process to life, and enable identification of functional requirements through the refinement of ''user stories''
• For assigned projects, identify standards and processes for the effective leverage of / appropriate access to talent data. For ongoing work, ensure adherence to access plans
• Improve enterprise talent management processes/systems/results via process improvement models and integration opportunities with key partners
Responsibilities
• Perform work in the research, development, and testing of Talent Solutions to support a culture of Performance and Development
• Develop and implement change management, communication plans, and learning materials that support successful Talent Solutions pilots and implementation. Consult with segments and CoEs/HR functions to implement consistently where possible, and support customization if required by specific culture/business drivers
• Project Manage Talent Management pilots, approach and measurement integration (user story process mapping, technology requirements definition, user experience measurement, etc.)
Basic Qualifications
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Human Resources - talent management experience preferred
• Demonstrated experience in:
• Leading Complex Work – large scale cross-functional and cross-business segment work
• Business Acumen – staying on top of business/global trends impacting Talent Solutions work, providing point of view to inform development of inclusive processes and tools
• Communicating with leadership – provide objective updates to stimulate dialogue and enable decision making
• Partnering with other Support Organizations – utilize expertise of multiple partners
• Influencing and Integrating – work effectively with a diverse team of partners toward development and implementation, building and supporting a shared vision
• Managing Cross-Functional Relationships – build effective relationships across multiple HR functions and with business leaders
• Innovating – creatively approach work, proactively seeking new and emerging trends. Demonstrate ability to move from creative ideas to implementation
• Strong consulting and client service skills
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Understanding of multiple HR functions to support an integrated approach to talent solutions
• Working with clients in a rapidly changing environment
• Influencing and collaborating with cross- functional partners
• Working under pressure with multiple priorities and deadlines
• Willing and able to travel up to 10%
• HR experience within a large diverse business
• Understanding and experience with talent management processes
• Experience in leveraging internal and external research to support introduction of best practices
• Strong business acumen
• Strong skills in designing and creating presentations, especially with MS PowerPoint (MS Word/Excel skills also necessary)
• Strong Change Management and Communication skills with a specific focus on practical business application
• Implementing processes across a complex, geographically dispersed organization
• Strong project management skills
• Track record of data quality and confidentiality
• Attention to detail
Required Education
• Bachelors or equivalent (HR, Communication, Business or related preferred)
Preferred Education
• Masters (HR, OD, MBA) PREFERED
