The Employee Relations Department will offer the chance to work through every aspect of Human Resources. Employee Relations works intimately with HR, as well as employees across The Walt Disney Company. Responsibilities
The Employee Relations Graduate Intern will assist the Employee Relations department in driving several large projects that will have an impact across The Walt Disney Company. Additionally, the Employee Relations Graduate Intern will assist with project management for a large event occurring at the end of the year, hosted by Employee Relations.
• Assist with keeping each project on schedule
• Research and propose different employee policies and trends
• Assist with developing training to be implemented across Corporate
• Brainstorming training needs, draft training presentations, assist with implementing training
• Assist with project management on reporting capabilities for data pulled within Corporate HR
• Assist the Employee Relations Associate with project management including meetings with vendors, brainstorming ideas for workplace session attendees and subjects

• Including, employee policy research, employee related investigations, training focused on the employee relations needs
Required Education
• Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university and taking at least one class, or be a recent graduate of an accredited college or university within the last six (6) months at time of application, or be currently participating in the Disney College Program, Disney Culinary Program or Disney Professional Internship Program
• Currently pursuing a graduate/masters degree in Human Resources,Organizational Development, Employment Law or a closely related field
Preferred Education
• JD preferred

Additional Information
• The approximate dates of this internship are May/June 2018 through August 2018
• Candidate must be available to work part time/full time hours (approximately 40 hours per week) for the duration of the internship
• Able to provide own housing and transportation in the Burbank area
• Must not have completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program
• Must possess unrestricted work authorization
• Must be at least 18 years of age
