What You Will Do...
As a Payroll Operations Intern, you'll have the opportunity to:
• Process uploads and run off-cycle payments in SAP
• Safeguard company assets
• Handle emails and concerns related to pay
• Assist with direct deposits, returned payroll checks, deductions and union cards
• Assist with quota report processing
• Send paystub copies to terminated Cast Members
Required Qualifications and Skills …
• The ability to prioritize a high-volume workload in a deadline-driven and fast-paced environment
• Possess strong analytical and research skills; Needs to have a sound understanding of and enjoy working with numbers
• Insight to and/or previous payroll experience
• Willingness to learn, go above and beyond and receive feedback for growth; Ability to learn new programs and applications quickly
• Possess strong leaderships skills, takes initiative and has a desire for continuous improvement
• Excellent customer service skills, ability to partner with various organizations and people across the company
• Ability to handle confidential information
• Excellent oral/written communication skills
• Proven ability to work well in a team environment as well as independently
• Proficiency in working in a Windows environment; must be confident in Microsoft Office and possess very strong Excel skills (pivot tables, v-lookups, sum-ifs, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications …
• SAP Experience
• Payroll Training and/or Payroll Certification
• Previous work and/or internship experience
• GPA of 3.5 or higher
Education:
• Pursuing bachelor's (or recent graduate) in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, Business Administration or related field
Eligibility Requirements & Program Information:
• At the time of application, must be enrolled in an accredited college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program OR must have graduated from a college/university within 6 months OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Professional Internship
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must possess unrestricted work authorization
• Must not have completed one year of continual employment on a Disney Internship or Program
• The approximate dates of this internship are June 2024 – January 2025.
• This internship is located in the Orlando, FL area.
• Candidate must be available to work full time hours (approximately 40 hours per week) for the duration of the internship.
• This internship is a primarily on-site position which will require a working, reliable internet connection as well as a quiet, dedicated workspace. Candidates must be able to provide their own housing and reliable transportation for work in the Orlando, FL area.
