The Indirect Tax Intern must be able to follow a tax calendar and complete all tasks to timely and accurately complete indirect tax returns (including Property Tax, Sales/Use Tax, & Gross Receipts Tax) and related payments for all Disney U.S., U.S. Territory, or Canadian entities. This internship is a full-time, six-month commitment in the Orlando, FL area from January 2026 to June 2026.
What You Will Do
This role could be a mixture of many different responsibilities! You could have the opportunity to:
• Support tax audits and research
• Generate and analyze reports for preparation of property tax, sales/use tax, & gross receipts tax for assigned business area(s)
• Reconcile indirect tax activity to the general ledger
• Analyze and communicate relevant tax rule changes/law developments to team members and leadership that could impact the business
• Collaborate with various teams within Disney, including technology teams, controllership, and finance
• Assist with other special projects as needed
Required Qualifications & Skills
• Takes initiative and has a process improvement mindset (Tech Savvy)
• Strong willingness and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Proficient in MS Office Suite with advanced Excel experience (pivot tables, VLOOKUP's)
• Possess strong time management skills – Able to multi-task, prioritize, and consistently meet deadlines
• Adaptable to change, easily pivots
• Strong analytical thinker
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
Preferred Qualifications
• Previous experience with Alteryx and/or Power BI
Education
• Currently enrolled in a GRADUATE degree program in Accounting, Finance, Tax, Data Analytics, or other related field
Eligibility Requirements & Program Information
Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all of the below requirements:
• Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a GRADUATE degree taking at least one class at the time of application posting OR a graduate student currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship
• Be at least 18 years of age
• Possess unrestricted work authorization
• Have not completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or Disney College Program
Additional Information
• Candidate must be fully available to work full-time hours (approximately 40 hours per week) for the duration of the internship.
• This internship is an on-site position but also requires a working, reliable internet connection as well as a quiet, dedicated workspace for the days you may work from home.

The pay rate for this role in Florida is $30.40 per hour.
