An opportunity exists to support this dynamic organization as a Senior Financial Systems Analyst -Project Hire assisting the Parks Supply Chain division within the Disney Parks, Experiences and Product Segment supporting the upgrade of our current financial ERP, specifically with Inventory and warehousing functionality. What You Will Do
This role's key focus will be to support the upgrade of the corporate financial ERP along with focusing on the inventory and warehousing aspects. Also, responsibilities will include, but not limited to working with the business strategy, governance, and end users. Support financial systems processes, enhancements, and some sustainment activities. Support Segment-specific project/efforts related to finance systems.
You will provide daily support to the end user community and develop training/communication materials. You will also participate in the testing and implementation of the warehouse management system, defect and issue resolution and other system changes all while ensuring financial policies and standards are followed for the Enterprise and Segment.
Required Qualifications and Skills
• 5+ years work experience with financial or accounting teams working for a large company
• 3+ years in financial systems and business processes, including experience with T-accounts, reconciliations, and process flows
• Strong written and verbal communication skills including the ability to succinctly convey relevant information across multiple levels of the organization that develops relationship building and collaboration
• Excellent organization and time management skills to enable work in a dynamic environment
• Ability to work independently under moderate direction and supervision on assigned priorities and projects
• Understands business processes and is able to develop and assist in the implementation of business process and/or technology solutions
• Deliver training to end users virtually, in person, and/or in pre-recorded videos
• Strong analytical and system design skills, problem recognition, problem solving and a track record of seeing tasks through to successful completion while providing a positive experience for customers
Preferred Qualifications • Experience using SAP or other large ERP system
• Experience implementing financial processes and systems along with developing the associated end user training
• Experience using systems to manage issues, changes, and testing (e.g. Service Now, Confluence, ALM, QTEST)
• Warehouse management system experience
Education
• Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) or equivalent work experience in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field
