Job Summary:
Job Description and Responsibilities
Provide accounting and business support for the Disney Vacation Club Condominium Associations, with a focus on financial reporting, budget development, forecasting, and business analysis. This role partners closely with key stakeholders across Disney Experiences (most significantly Walt Disney World Parks and Resorts) to deliver accurate financial information, support informed decision-making, and strengthen controllership practices. The ideal candidate will have experience preparing and presenting financial statements, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements, as well as a strong understanding of accounting principles generally accepted in the United States of America (GAAP).
• Review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial results to ensure accuracy, completeness, and alignment with accounting standards.
• Summarize the annual operating forecast for each Association and analyze results for consistency with historical trends, current business conditions, and expected operational changes.
• Collaborate with resort and support operations partners to evaluate financial performance, explain key variances, and influence actions that mitigate budget risks.
• Support Association-wide workstreams, including property taxes, insurance, bank transfers, regulatory compliance, and other centralized controllership activities.
• Ensure appropriate accounting methods are applied in the preparation of GAAP-compliant financial statements and develop clear variance explanations for leadership presentations.
• Prepare and/or review schedules and supporting documentation for the annual audit.
• Consolidate the annual dues budget across multiple Associations and support related budget review activities.
• Identify insights and process improvement opportunities that support finance transformation strategies, enhance efficiency, and strengthen internal controls.
Required Education
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
Required Qualifications & Skills
• 3+ years of financial or accounting experience, preferably in large SAP installations. Experience in a large company and matrix organization
• Minimum 3 years of expertise in financial systems and business processes.
• Technical proficiency in managing smaller-scale projects, including budget and risk.
• Service delivery experience with expertise in reporting and analyzing metrics.
• Proficient in achieving tasks and problem-solving
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organization, communication, and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently under moderate direction and supervision.
• Understanding of business processes with the ability to develop and implement solutions.
• Experience delivering training to end users.
• Strong analytical skills and issue resolution capability.
Preferred Qualifications
• CPA or CMA license, or equivalent.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, SAP or another ERP, and Business Intelligence reporting tools.
• Experience in implementing financial processes and systems.

Salary/Benefits
$68,300 - $83,300 /year USD
The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
