Sales Representative (NY, NY)
The Walt Disney Studios encompasses the creation, production, promotion, sales, acquisition and domestic and international distribution of live-action and animated motion pictures, home entertainment releases, live stage plays, and music and soundtrack recordings.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Sales Representative in New York, New York.
The Sales Representative will partner with the Domestic Sales Team in distributing all WDS release releases in North America.
Responsibilities
• Be trained in all aspects of Theatrical Distribution within the Eastern Division.
• Manage the sales and distribution of all WDS releases within an assigned territory, including:
• Sales and booking
• Grosses and box office reports
• Billing
• Accounts Receivable
• Develop and maintain exhibitor and account relations.
• In-Theatre Marketing (including trailer placement and marketing material management).
• Assisting a Circuit Management Team with the creation and implementation of marketing and promotional ideas.
Basic Qualifications
• Manages projects, timelines and deals effectively with pressure.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• Prioritize work activities.
• Multi-tasks by switching smoothly from one project or job to another.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (MS Word, MS Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) and some SAP.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in theatrical motions picture sales and distribution or theatrical exhibition.
• Some marketing background and experience.
Required Education
• BA/BS required.
