This is a Full Time Job
The Research Analyst is responsible for supporting The Walt Disney Company's ongoing listening strategies and processes to capture the voice of our workforce, leaders, candidates and alumni; as well as assisting with basic external research. This includes building and maintaining surveys in survey systems, conducting simple data analyses, creating basic data visualizations, assisting clients with using the systems, maintaining security access to the survey systems, maintaining an external research library, and assisting with qualitative research through tasks such as notetaking and comment review.
This role can reside in Anaheim, Burbank or Orlando.
Responsibilities:
This position requires strong attention to detail and problem solving skills. The Research Analyst will need to employ critical thinking as they perform the tasks they are assigned in order to ensure quality and to identify potential improvements and efficiencies. The Research Analyst will need to be able to work independently, with guidance, prioritization, and directional support from senior team members.
The primary job responsibilities include the following:
• Program, test and maintain surveys in survey systems such as Qualtrics and Microsoft Forms
• Manage survey system security permissions
• Provide technical support to clients leveraging self-service tools
• Maintain the question and survey libraries and reference tables (EDNA)
• Assist with ad hoc business research requests
• Facilitate the survey translation process
• Maintain the legal review process
• Create and maintain sustainment documentation
• Ensure data integrity and maintenance
• Provide general survey support: including deployment, simple analyses and dashboards
• Provide support for qualitative research including note-taking and comment mining
• Ensure the quality and accuracy of our products and data
• Proactively identify ways to create efficiencies and better processes
• Explore and learn newly released survey system features and functionality
Basic Qualifications:
• A minimum of one year previous work experience (including internships)
• Strong problem solving skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Demonstrated expertise with Excel, PowerPoint and Word
• High degree of initiative and creativity
Preferred Qualifications:
• Prior experience in a professional setting
• Demonstrated expertise in survey tools (such as Qualtrics) preferred
• Experience with quantitative and qualitative research methodologies
Required Education
• 4-Year degree or equivalent
Preferred Education
• Graduate Degree in Economics, I/O Psychology, Organizational Behavior, or closely related field with an emphasis on research design
