Programming Coordinator, Non Linear Planner - 6 Month Maternity Cover
Job Summary:
You will be responsible for the delivery of Disney Channel Iberia non-linear content plans (ISS, Popupchannels, YT) within the guidelines, strategy and timings agreed with Programming Manager.
Main Responsibilities:
• Delivers the channels non-linear content planning in Excel and Vision/WON based on the overall content plans established and agreed with Programming Manager. Non-Linear content planning includes:
• Monthly In Season Stacking (ISS) non-linear plans to be delivered to our Spanish and Portuguese affiliates.
• Monthly Disney Channel Youtube Spain and Portugal content plans.
• Popup Channels.
• Reviews US plans to understand short form content strategy, timings and availability to propose local content plans for Youtube & linear channels based on local programming strategy, needs and budget.
• Takes responsibility on being informed on linear plans and grids to plan ISS accordingly, including volume needs as per affiliates requirements.
• Takes responsibility for ensuring relevant documents and databases are kept up to date with accurate information (short form quarterly plan, Disney BOX…) following strategy established by Programming Manager.
• Interprets available non-linear data as well as Youtube stats delivered by Social Media team to understand competitors and channels performances to suggest content planning tactics and improvements.
• Maintains up to date knowledge of market place and competitor activity reporting back as appropriate.
• Communicates effectively with team members and managers to ensure successful delivery of plans and schedules in line with department requirements and timings.
• Contributes to communicating non-linear content plans information to the wider organisation as required.
• Comes up with creative ideas to contribute to the continual improvement of plans.
• Coordinates with technical teams (Operations, mediaplanning, creative services… to assure a smooth delivery of the channels non-linear plans.
Preferred Education
3 years of experience on programming or TV media.
Kids programming experience and audience analysis is a plus.
Degree Level Education on Communications or similar.
Experience in a similar role/organization.
Knowledge of media market, specially Kids environment.
Product knowledge and technical expertise relevant to the role (WON and/or Vision is a plus).
Fluent in English and Spanish.
Audience analysis experience is a plus.
