The Privacy department within Disney Legal and Global Affairs is responsible for overseeing compliance with legal requirements and corporate policy related to the governance of personal information collected from consumers and employees. The Privacy Compliance and Regulatory Operations team is charged with documenting and auditing TWDC business teams' compliance with privacy laws and regulations around the world. This individual will be responsible for developing and executing implementation plans related to emerging and existing privacy legal obligations across all businesses and regions. This individual will also support data governance processes, data subject access and deletion requests, and mapping corporate and business unit systems that contain consumer and employee data.
Areas of Responsibility:
• Develop and execute project plans and associated timelines to facilitate compliance with emerging privacy legal requirements, including in the U.S., Canada, LatAm and APAC
• Work with members of the privacy legal team, privacy compliance team, and business and technology stakeholders across segments and regions to implement and audit privacy requirements
• Support key data governance tasks, including use case documentation, privacy impact assessments, and the mapping of key systems that contain consumer and employee data
• Administer the program for fulfilling and automating consumer and employee data subject access and deletion rights
• Assess and update technical platforms for managing privacy compliance, including Salesforce, SharePoint and OneTrust
• Document standard operating procedures for privacy compliance and build processes to maintain documentation accuracy and currency
• Develop and deliver training on emerging privacy compliance requirements for business and technology teams
• Support audits to assess the effectiveness of compliance programs
Basic Qualifications
• Minimum of 5 years of work experience in project management or within the digital media space
• Strong understanding of emerging technologies, media markets and business models
• Familiarity with various data concepts, such as data modeling, data mapping, metadata, database management (including both relational databases and NoSQL databases). Experience with big data technologies is a plus
• Effective troubleshooting skills, capable of identifying and resolving sophisticated issues with sound judgment and initiative
• Demonstrated attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong work ethic and commitment to professionalism
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively with co-workers and clients
• Willingness to take ''ownership'' of projects and think proactively

Preferred Qualifications
• Degree in technical field such as management information systems
• Experience in managing projects across a variety of clients with varying levels of complexity
• Certification in project or program management
• Prior experience in privacy or data security compliance
• Practical knowledge of data privacy management tools (i.e. OneTrust, TrustArc, Ketch)

The hiring range for this position in Burbank, CA is $87,500.00 to $120,200.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
