The Identity and Access Management organization within Enterprise Technology supports all enterprise-level IAM services end-to-end. This includes IAM service management, governance, security, compliance, operations, engineering, architecture, organization change management, demand management, and release management. This organization is accountable and instrumental in reducing identity-related risks, mitigating threats, and advancing IAM mature services. Its mission is to enable secure, appropriate access for any identity from any device, any location, to any service, for the right business outcome. The IAM team provides positive user experiences through platform modernization, and security and operational excellence for workforce identities across The Walt Disney Company (TWDC).
What You Will Do:
The Program Manager, Identity and Access Management, will have three primary roles:
1) supporting cross-functional/cross-team efforts within the IAM organization as an internal-facing planning and IAM leadership support function
2) supporting the IAM PMO and project/program delivery by serving in a technical Project Manager capacity when needed across IAM teams
3) acting in a backup capacity to assist with financial portfolio management for the IAM organization. This person is intended to operate fluidly across these three roles in their day-to-day activities, as determined by current priorities and needs within the org.
The responsibilities of the Program Manager, IAM include:
Intra-IAM Planning & Support
• Provide support to the IAM leadership team with strategic storytelling and executive communications (via documentation and presentations) summarizing IAM risks, progress, priorities, initiatives, etc.
• Facilitate five-year planning activities in partnership with the IAM Finance Lead, by coordinating with IAM teams and documenting IAM strategies, maturity models, roadmaps, etc., as needed, and successfully articulating value-add and and risk reduction around our IAM ecosystem
• Serve as the lead on behalf of the broader IAM org to take point on understanding any new expectations placed on the org (process, financial, reporting, or otherwise), and ensure those are clearly understood and adopted consistently by each of the IAM teams
• Understand and evaluate all Enterprise Technology requirements impacting the IAM organization. Coordinate with IAM Leadership in navigating these changes (e.g. new PMO requirements, new risk reporting expectations, new project approval requirements and processes, time reporting expectations, etc.) to ensure path forward is defined and adopted seamlessly amongst internal IAM teams
• Coordinate cross-functionally (e.g. with IAM Organization Change Management team) and leverage insights from other internal support functions to prepare and coordinate meeting materials for internal meetings within the IAM organization and to leadership (e.g., All Hands presentations)
• Engage with the IAM organization's Service Leads, Governance Leads, Global IAM Architects, Domain Architects, OCM team, etc. as necessary, to complete deliverables for the portfolio role
• Serve as the coordination point and facilitator for org-wide activities and team events, trainings, celebration gatherings, All Hands events preparations, etc.
Supporting IAM PMO & Delivery
• Provide as-needed support for IAM initiatives requiring technical project management activities
• Advance and mature internal ways of working for program & project management (e.g., program level enhancements, optimizing reporting, proposing program-level methodologies, identifying ways to better organize org-wide reporting for leadership, etc.)
• Support project delivery team members with internal documentation or insights to best inform continued delivery
Financial Portfolio Support
• Serve as a backup to the IAM Finance Lead, who drives the holistic financial portfolio for the IAM organization
• Responsibilities include assisting in tasks related to monthly forecasts, accruals, financial tracker updates, escalations to team members to ensure timely financial commitments, documentation organization of contractual agreements, etc.
Additional responsibilities:
• Successfully articulate our IAM mission/vision/strategy and ensure its accurate representation in all org-wide materials presented to stakeholders and executives
• Manage multiple competing tasks/responsibilities simultaneously, ranging from strategic portfolio initiatives to tactical project management activities
• Engage across all teams that make up the IAM organization, other teams in the broader Services & Platforms organization, and various strategic partners
• Provide knowledge to the IAM organization of project and program best practices
Must Haves:
• Minimum of 5 years of related work experience
• 5+ years of experience in a program/project management capacity, with a high proficiency of navigating large, complex organizations with intricacies in stakeholder relationships.
• Knowledge and familiarity with Identity and Access Management concepts
• Technical project management and program management experience
• Strong budget management knowledge and experience.
• Provide PM services and support financials
Nice to Haves:
• Familiarity with managing complex organizational budgets across various teams
• Experience in coordinating five-year planning activities
Education:
• ? Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent work experience
• Technical project or program manager certification or equivalent work experience
