About the Role:
The Product Manager is accountable for the overall strategy, design, and implementation of Collaboration and Productivity products, platforms and solutions for employees of The Walt Disney Company.
This role is considered mid-level with a key focus on improving employee experience through the modernization of integrated employee facing technologies. This position defines technical outcomes for SaaS platforms and performs trend
analysis and industry research to design and implement next generation solutions.
Responsibilities include refining complex and differing processes across productivity platforms to create business solutions with foundational platforms
that augment employee productivity and work management. Specific objectives include the design and implementation of automation for complex business workflows and associated integrations, overseeing prioritization of operational and security routine actions, financial management, vendor management and optimization of platform use. In addition, this position will be responsible for working with peers to establish roadmaps and oversight consistency across all productivity
platforms.
The Product Manager works closely with the Engineering and Architecture to develop and drive key organization and technology roadmaps and must demonstrate and maintain a current broad understanding of the technologies, vendor
roadmaps and strategy, industry trends and best practices related to the multiple products and services under their responsibility.
Responsibilities:
• Manage all business aspects of each Product including design, planning, budget, allocations, marketing and communication, vendor management
• Oversee the design and implementation of new processes required for integration approvals
• Work with business segments, other technology peers (both internal and external), and service providers to define technical and business requirements for each Product
• Develop technology strategies for multiple IT products and platforms to meet current and future business requirements
• Perform trending and analysis to identify efficiencies and improvement opportunities including portfolio rationalization
Must Haves:
• Relationship management skills and experience
• Understanding of how SaaS products allow for secure integrations to other systems
• Demonstrated ability to facilitate meetings to plan use of new technology • Demonstrated ability to effectively market and communicate enterprise technology offerings
• Strong Customer service skills with the ability to interact with business and technology community
• Analytical skills with strong problem solving, decision making and creative solutions experience
Nice to haves:
• Experience managing large scale enterprise technology initiatives • Familiarity working with Operations Transition planning to ensure solution longevity • • Presentation and communication skills, particularly the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical audiences
• Resilience, flexibility and openness to changing dynamic environment
Education:
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, software, electrical or electronics engineering, or comparable field of study, and/or equivalent work experience
The hiring range for this position in Burbank, CA is $95,300 to $127,800 and in Seattle, WA and in New York, NY is $99,900 to $133,900. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
