Product Integrity Coordinator (Project hire through May 2024)

The Product Integrity department manages the safety and compliance of products being sold or distributed with Disney brands, characters, and other intellectual properties. Our corporate Product Integrity group is staffed with experienced engineers and safety professionals around the world that verify product compliance. What You Will Do
The Product Integrity Coordinator (Project hire through May 2024) will support the Product Integrity team product compliance activities for the global vertical retail products business. This position includes work in the technology platform Product Integrity Management System (PIMS) . We are looking for support talent that have attention to detail under the supervision and leadership of the Principal Engineer.
You will screen PIMS system for duplicate Test Requests and data accuracy. Identify discrepancies and correct per training provided.
• Verify integrity of data – example: ship dates have the correct year
• Verify category and engineer assignment correlation per resources provided
• Verify correlation between Business Units and Countries of Distribution per resources provided
Update internal Product Integrity Management System (PIMS) with changes to testing records, Engineer dispositions, and testing results. Partner with Global Sourcing Operations to lead Regulatory Fail Audits and maintain audit tracking. Assist with electronic filing of testing related correspondence and reports to Electronic Document management system (eDocs). Review and send out Test Requests daily. Connect with internal partners daily and attend weekly meetings with Sourcing partners to acquire updates for PIMS and review Open Items report
Attend Monthly Conference calls with Coordinators in other locations. Fulfill requests for reports and documentation for third parties as requested. Cover for other Coordinators as necessary. General administrative duties
Required Qualifications and Skills
• 1+ years of coordinator or other related experience.
• Successful multi-tasker, multiple open screens to work from
• Have experience working in a consumer product company with a fast paced environment and multiple task assignments.
• Proficient in Microsoft SharePoint, Access, Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and able to handle a variety of tasks simultaneously
• Must be able to meet deadlines and set priorities in order to manage daily workload
• Must accurately carry out data entry and have excellent communication skills
Preferred Qualifications 1-2 years coordinator experience preferred, ideally in a technical or detail oriented field
Education
Bachelor degree in a technical field, business field or equivalent experience
