Part Time Unpaid Internship

About You...
In this role, you would join a highly collaborative team of recruiters, leaders and coordinators from all over the country that work together to match the newest, brightest talent to some of the most important roles across the Enterprise at The Walt Disney Company. In this exciting role, you will demonstrate a strong understanding of people, process, and technology within a fast-paced, environment. You'll drive results and help make things happen by assisting in the candidate experience, participating in interview scheduling, facilitating arrivals with the Professional Internships team, and more. Along with ensuring applicants experience memorable interactions, you will be part of a team who continually challenges themselves to undergo constant evolution within our day to day processes.

Basic Qualifications:

• Task orientation with experience following structured processes
• Proven organizational skills while ensuring attention to detail
• Experience within campus/university outreach or recruitment teams and have a passion developing talent for the future
• Ability to multi-task in a rapidly changing work environment effectively balancing and prioritizing multiple projects
• Experience utilizing Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) as well as SharePoint
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, including a proficiency in clear, concise, and compelling oral and written communication
Preferred Qualifications:
It would be nice if you also:
Possess prior or current The Walt Disney Company experience
Have an understanding of HR systems and processes
Previously or currently participated in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship Experience
Required Education
You have or are working toward a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications or related.
Additional Information:
Internship Eligibility:
• Must be enrolled in a college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program OR have graduated from college within the past six months OR be currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Professional Internship
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Not have already completed two consecutive (spring/fall) College or Professional Internship Programs
• Must possess unrestricted work authorization
• Must provide full work availability
• Must provide own transportation to/from work
• Current Active Disney cast members must meet Professional Internship transfer guidelines (for Walt Disney World cast members this is no more than four points and one reprimand in the last six months; for Disneyland cast members this is six months of consecutive service and a performance record clear of any disciplinary issues (warnings, suspensions, etc.) for at least six months)
Program Length: The approximate dates of this internship are September 2018 through January 2019. Interns must be fully available for the duration of the internship.
Housing: This internship is located in Orlando, FL. Candidates must be receptive to providing their own housing for the duration of the internship.
