Part Time Unpaid Internship

Responsibilities:
A Day in the Life…
This intern will support the HR Communications & Strategy team by:
• Working closely with VP, HR Communications & Strategy on various special projects
• Assisting with HR-related marketing initiatives across The Walt Disney Co.
• Leading research in HR industry trends, influencers and best practices
• Creating and editing executive presentations
• Supporting miscellaneous communications and writing projects
Basic Qualifications:

Preferred Qualifications:
• Previous internships in the HR or communications fields, including agency experience
• Professional experience with social and digital media platforms
• Quick study
• Mac and Microsoft Office proficient (incl. PowerPoint, Keynote)
• Familiarity/working knowledge of Photoshop, InDesign, or Illustrator a plus
Required Education
• Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university and taking at least one class, or be a recent graduate of an accredited college or university within the last six (6) months at time of application, or be currently participating in the Disney College Program, Disney Culinary Program or Disney Professional Internship Program
• Pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Human Resources, or a closely related field
Preferred Education
• Pursuing a graduate degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Human Resources or closely related field
Additional Information:
• The approximate dates of this internship are August 2018 through January 2018
• Candidate must be available to work full time hours (approximately 30-40 hours per week) for the duration of the internship
• Able to provide own housing and transportation in the Burbank area
• Must not have completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program
• Must possess unrestricted work authorization
• Must be at least 18 years of age
