The Brand Insights team is charged with finding the best methods to understand brand performance, consumer sentiment, needs and behaviors in entertainment brands across the world. The team plays an integral part in key business decisions and strategic directions for The Walt Disney Company. The team works in a consultative manner across all aspects of Disney's business portfolio to deliver sophisticated ad hoc research and synthesize a wide array of data and insights to support decision making on brand strategic opportunities and challenges.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, the Analyst is responsible for performing analytics and helping the team shape insights for communicating to Senior Executives on brand performance and brand driving topics. As the key analytic resource on a wide variety of high-profile projects, the Analyst prepares the data that drives decision-making at the highest levels of The Walt Disney Company.
What you will do:
• Support ad hoc primary research/consumer insight projects to evaluate and understand brand health, brand sentiment and involvement in collaboration with partners, stakeholders, business units, and global markets
• Conduct analyses to answer key business questions from Executive Leadership and ensure consumer insights are optimally used and integrated into brand strategies
• Synthesize detailed yet succinct POV for initiatives that span across the Disney Brands and Corporate segments by leveraging cross segments data sources and consumer insights
Required Qualifications and Experience:
• 1+ years' experience in a consulting, strategy, market research/consumer insights (focus on quantitative), or analytics role
• Experience crafting presentations in PowerPoint that clearly communicate data and research findings
• Strong analytical skills
• Ability to complete quality work within in a deadline driven environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proven presentation skills
• Enjoy independent work as well as being part of a team environment
• Demonstrates a strong collaborative yet consultative approach
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience using statistical software packages like SPSS or similar
• Consumer research experience (questionnaire design and analyzing results)
• Professional experience within the entertainment industry

The hiring range for this position in California is $70,000.00 - $89,000.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
