HR Project Coordinator (12 month FTC)
Job Summary:
We have a newly created role for a Project Associate / Co-ordinator to join the HR Team at the Walt Disney Company, on a 12 month fixed term contract basis, based at our EMEA Corporate Offices in Hammersmith, London.
This is an excellent opportunity for a driven, motivated high achiever to work on a significant and high impact HR project supporting the successful integration of the 21st Century Fox businesses with Disney for the EMEA region.
The role will be responsible for developing and maintaining all project plans, managing the project meeting calendar, attending relevant meetings to contribute and capture actions and ensure appropriate follow through, developing presentations and spreadsheets and contributing to specific projects through ideas and actions.
Additionally, the role will provide administrative support to the VP HR to include diary management, travel, expenses and answering phones when needed – (this is expected to form approximately 20% of the work)
Responsibilities:
Project Planning
• Ensure all project plans are updated weekly, flag risks to timelines
• Ensure the team is delivering key items on time
• Gather/articulate team input and prepare the weekly team status report in a timely manner circulate to executive management/project teams
Project Meetings
• Organize and manage a series of regular meetings
• Attend meetings as relevant/needed; manage the agenda and prepare and circulate meeting actions ensuring follow through
• Participate in daily stand-ups; note actions/follow-up
Project Documentation
• Regularly develop presentations in a clear, concise, compelling and articulate format
• Update project documentation and follow up on project tasks/open items, when required
• Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals and presentations to internal parties, as required
General
• Use and develop support systems and channels of communication effectively to foster strong relations with internal clients, stakeholders, project teams and vendors. ?
• Work collaboratively with other team members and maintain effective liaison with all departments and external contacts.
• Use own initiative to highlight problems before they arise and propose solutions to mitigate business risk for the Line of Business
Administration
• Provide administrative support to VP HR – diary, travel, expenses and answering phone when needed
Basic Qualifications:
• Degree educated or equivalent
• Experience operating in a large corporate, matrix environment in a project management / coordination capacity likely within Consulting, HR, Finance or Strategy
• Demonstrable high performer professionally and /or academically

• Exceptionally organized – able to understand, compile and track complex information and data into project plans that are clear and practical to act on

• Flexible – able to respond quickly to project adjustments and alterations
• Must have a strong willingness/be able to learn, understand, and apply new technologies.
• Ability to learn about new procedures and projects and become operational in a short ?period of time
Able to manage a busy workload and commitment to a high standard of work
