Job Summary:
We are looking for a Diversity & Inclusion Coordinator, EMEA to join The Walt Disney Company on a 12 month fixed term contract based in the Hammersmith, London Head office.
The Diversity and Inclusion team serves as a centre of excellence in EMEA (Europe, Middle East & Africa), leading the development of D&I business strategy, partnering with leadership across lines of business and our global markets, providing subject matter expertise on relevant inclusion practices, and enhancing our inclusion brand both inside and outside of The Walt Disney Company.
Reporting to the Manager, Diversity & Inclusion, EMEA, this role will support multiple initiatives and work on key strategic D&I priorities across the region. This role spans all dimensions of diversity, identity and/or interests for colleagues across the EMEA region. Position will primarily focus on (1) providing support to the Business Employee Resource Groups (BERGs) and tracking project plans (2) managing multiple tactical cross-BERG efforts as well as D&I activations in the region, (3) assisting with programming requests from BERGs (Pride, Women @Disney, Diversity) and T.R.U.S.T, our mental health network, based in the UK (4) attending relevant meetings to contribute and capture actions and ensure appropriate follow through (5) developing presentations and spreadsheets (5) contributing to specific projects through ideas and actions.
Additionally, the role will provide administrative support to the Manager, Diversity & Inclusion, EMEA to include diary management, travel, expenses and answering phones when needed – this is expected to form approximately 20% of the work.
Responsibilities:
Project Planning – 40%
• Assist with coordination of post-meeting action items, manage and monitor projects, provide progress updates to Manager as well as segment D&I stakeholders
• Manage the UK D&I calendar, end-to-end including:
• Supporting on content management and scheduling
• Liaising with leaders in advance of events to project manage activations
• Liaising with other centres of excellence to execute plans, courses, sessions, etc.
• Collating qualitative and quantitative survey responses, preparing feedback succinctly, confirming wrap files for all events
• Communication and promotions of the schedule
• Recognising opportunities for regional activation
• Support the team in running annual initiatives; e.g. UK Mentoring Programme; Women's History Month
• Actively track progress and measure impact of BERGs, support needs and requests of BERGs and attend BERG meetings to actively support strategic efforts
General – 30%
• Use and develop support systems and channels of communication effectively to foster strong relations with internal clients, stakeholders, project teams and vendors. -
• Work collaboratively with other team members and maintain effective liaison with all departments and external contacts.
• Use own initiative to highlight problems before they arise and propose solutions to mitigate business risk for the Line of Business
• Contribute stories for internal site Belong, spotlighting efforts of employees across the company to actively create a place of belonging
Administration – 30%
• Organize and manage a series of regular meetings; manage the agenda and facilitation of external and internal D&I meetings and prepare and circulate meeting actions ensuring follow through
• Provide administrative support to Manager, D&I, EMEA – diary, travel, expenses and answering phone when needed
• Act as Casual Buyer including, setting up new vendors, managing Purchase Orders, processing invoices through SAP as required and resolving vendor queries
• Respond to employee, line manager and HRBP on general queries and support
Any ad-hoc administrative/coordinative support or projects that are required in support of by D&I manager and wider D&I team
Basic Qualifications:
• Project coordination experience
• Demonstrable administration experience with good attention to detail
• Strong stakeholder and expectation management
• Experience within or exposure to diversity & inclusion desirable
• Experience operating in a large corporate, matrix environment in a project management / coordination capacity likely within Consulting, HR, Finance or Strategy preferred
• Demonstrable high performer professionally and /or academically

• Takes pride in delivering work with a high level of excellence
• Committed and driven, will work tenaciously to ensure the delivery of work requirements
• Strong relationship and stakeholder management skills
• Able to request information when needed and respond quickly to project adjustments and alterations
• Able to manage a busy workload and commitment to a high standard of work
