Integrated Marketing Manager - Lucasfilm, National Geographic
Job Summary:
Part of the Integrated Marketing team, the Integrated Marketing Manager- Lucasfilm, National Geographic will be responsible for supporting all new content releases and developing strategic and effective marketing plans to keep each brand front-of-mind with engaged AUNZ audiences.
The Integrated Marketing Manager, with the support of the Senior Integrated Marketing Manager- Marvel, will develop strategic growth pillars for the Lucas & Nat Geo brands as well as develop the framework to deliver on these pillars.
This role will be responsible for ideating and implementing events and activations as well as owned and social media activity for Lucasfilm & Nat Geo with the support of the Senior Integrated Marketing Manager - Marvel.
This role will also be responsible for delivering allocated Marvel projects and supporting Disney /Star Original content releases as required.
This person is a creative, detail-oriented and data driven thought leader who proactively stays ahead of industry trends in order to contribute to the success of brand amplification.
Responsibilities:
Brand Management
• Supports the Senior Integrated Marketing Manager - Marvel as well as the Marketing Director - Marvel, Lucasfilm, Nat Geo, to develop brand building campaigns to meet both short, and long term, objectives
• Ensures all activity aligns back to the global Lucasfilm & Nat Geo brand strategy, and local Disney brand strategy
• Maximises use of owned channels to promote key brand messages
• Manages creation and distribution of marketing assets
• Acts as a brand custodian and ensures brand compliance
• Upholds the reputation of Lucasfilm brands & Nat Geo, as well as the Disney brands at all times, through managing message delivery, tone of voice and ensuring content sits within global brand and visual guidelines
• Maintains correspondence with the various Disney global teams on content approvals
• Gathers and interprets brand insights to guide recommendations
• Manages marketing budgets and processing
• Responsible for marketing calendar and campaign presentations
Events & Activations
• Works alongside the Events team to identify opportunities and manage relationships
• Assists with the management of events and activations to promote the brand
Partnerships
• Explores relevant partnerships to enhance campaigns and meet both brand and commercial objectives
• Works alongside the Partnerships team to guarantee executions are to standard and guidelines are adhered to
Social and Owned Media
• Works with the Social Media specialists to plan and analyse campaigns in line with recommendations for all Disney AUNZ social channels
• Develops strategies to communicate key brand messages as well as amplify relevant beats, activations, events and partnerships
• Oversees content calendars
• Suggests opportunities for cross-channel and synergy support
Stakeholder Management
• Collaborates and communicates brand strategies with broader XLOB teams
• Proactively communicates brand news and insights with the team and relevant stakeholders
• Works with departments, teams or external agencies to drive best practice
Basic Qualifications:
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar brand management role, preferably working across multiple brands
• Experience of managing and delivering brand building campaigns
• Proven competency and knowledge of social platforms
• Excellent writing and copy skills
• Passion for storytelling and our brands
• Strong work ethic and high level of confidentiality
• Proficiency in business metrics and numbers- preferably with experience managing budgets
• Ability to manage multiple projects and creative ideas on tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail and ability to use sound judgement to ensure content is within brand guidelines
• The ability to manage multiple stakeholders
• Strong collaboration skills
