Full Time Job
The Tonight Show is seeking an Audience Coordinator to work with all day-to-day operations as outlined below. This is a Run of Show position that will support the Production with a variety of administrative and functional responsibilities not limited to the following:
Responsibilities:
• Coordinate all show ticketing and audience recruiting strategies to ensure that The Tonight Show studio seats are filled on a year-round basis.
• Forecast seasonal audience needs and manage cost effective ticket distribution through sources including: show website, traditional mail, NBC Guest Relations, and paid third party audience recruiters.
• Coordinate The Tonight Show assigned Page staff both in-studio and during ticket office operations.
• Coordinate all necessary Page training regarding show ticketing policies, instructions and in-studio audience loading procedures.
• Maintain ticket inventory and arrange for all ticket printing.
• Coordinate with show producers and Guest Relations Director, any group bookings including special audiences.
• Assist with transportation arrangements and other related logistics.
• Coordinate all The Tonight Show VIP/client ticket arrangements.
• With approval of Director, Guest Relations, coordinate requests with any senior management and implement special arrangements as needed.
• Assist NBC Universal Marketing and Sales, Talent Relations, Government Relations and Affiliate Relations with internal show ticketing requests.
• Liaison to Producers with regards to audience guests and any special VIP needs.
• Interface with The Tonight Show Stage Managers, Director and other staff as needed with regard to the coordination of any show content or segments that requires audience participation and other related logistics.
• Ensure all Pages are properly trained and aware of all safety procedures and practices as well as managing any visitor requests for accommodation under the Americans with Disabilities Act. (A.D.A.)
• Monitor all physical studio audience facilities regarding any present hazards that could result in the risk of injury to audience members.
• Respond to and resolve any The Tonight Show visitor complaints.
Qualifications
Basic Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years of television production experience.
• Working experience with Microsoft Office.
• Interested candidates must submit a resume/CV online to be considered.
• Willingness to work long hours and on weekends with short notice.
• Must be willing to work in New York, NY.
• Must have work authorization to work in the United States.
• Must be covered by Solutions, NBCU's Alternative Dispute Resolution Program.
Desired Characteristics:
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Knowledge and interest in pop-culture is a plus.

• Required On-Site: This position is required to be performed full-time from an NBCUniversal-designated worksite.

• Hourly salary range: $17.00 - $20.00
• The candidate who fills this position will be paid at least 60 hours per week regardless of whether they work less than 60 hours. Hours over 40 hrs/wk will be paid at the appropriate overtime rate.
