The Marketing & Promotions Director is the soul of the body. Your energy and connection to the shows is what makes or breaks this industry.
You conduct the day-to-day marketing and promotions for First Tracks Management INC, a concert management company.
This position includes working directly with artist teams, identifying opportunities and creating/managing relationships related to marketing and promoting shows. You will implement creative advertising and oversee a budget. Your creativity is your greatest asset ~ there are no boundaries.
The ideal candidate is equally comfortable with both content creation and content strategy. You love to ideate and produce engaging content whether story telling or videos, but you also love to dive into the analytics and identify performance insights that can help inform future content/strategy.
The Marketing & Promotions Director works closely with management and other team members to achieve the goals and visions of our companies, both as an expanding small business and as an established stalwart in the community.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
• 24-hour response time
• Working under pressure
• Available evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Individual show grassroots marketing
• Digital marketing
• Graphic design
• Patron communication
• Outreach, promotions and public relations
General Show Marketing Guidelines:
• Work closely with artist teams to build and implement show announcements
• Coordinate and manage website content, upkeep, and revisions
• Build and send weekly subscriber emails [familiar with various email platforms]
• Build and send Know Before You Go emails
• Build and send show specific targeted emails
• Database management for subscribers that includes genre, zip code, show purchases
• Coordinate local appearance and radio/print interviews for Artists
• Identify events to be 'presented by' with various media outlets
Print and Digital Ad Management
• Responsible for timely delivery of in-house and external print media and promotions including but not limited to: Monthly Calendar Listings, Weekly Ads, Individual Show Posters and Listing Posters
• Manage poster distribution and coordinate with Street Team for routes, pickup, and so forth...
Social Media / Content Creator
• Management of ALL social media accounts for The State Room Presents
• Create direct relationships with Artist PR teams
• On site for shows to get fresh content for day of show social media postings
• Manage customer service requests via Facebook/Instagram
• Schedule professional photographers for shows
