ROLE OVERVIEW
The Social Media Manager, Content is a role in the Social Media department of the lifestyle brand, SpringHill under The SpringHill Company. This role will collaborate with a range of departments within the organization to consistently deliver premium programmed content.
A successful person in the role will be an expert familiar with all major social media platforms to effectively multitask and adapt to a fast-paced environment. They will use their social media knowledge to grow our audience by publishing trending content promptly.
This role will ensure our premium social content is delivered consistently to evolve our content and hit trends, practices, etc. that resonate with our brands. This role will also lead production, red carpets, junkets, and in-office shoots in our New York office.
REPORTS TO: Director, SpringHill Social
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Manage and oversee planning, categorizing, developing and programming trending and timely content and strategy across SpringHill
• Live coverage of events or special campaigns on social media platforms as required, including creating real-time content and engaging with the audience during events
• Lead production, red carpets, junkets, and in-office shoots in our New York office
• Monitor competitor social media activities and stay informed about industry trends to ensure the brand remains competitive and innovative in its social media strategies
• Advise the Director of Social on cultural and social media trends, best practices, and more to inform the creative direction of our content and brands
• Develop social content strategy across the brand's four pillars to ensure we are tracking against social shifts and trends
• Collaborate with social marketing and cross-functional colleagues to keep strategies consistent with department and organizational goals and objectives, and to provide support for campaigns in other areas
• Collaborate with designers to ensure content is informative, appealing, and consistent with brand voice and tone
• Able to edit Photoshop templates in a timely manner
• Develop content calendars and strategies that align with short-term and long-term marketing goals
• Be the ''key holder'' that decides when content is posted, where it goes, and how it looks on each platform
• Oversee and monitor comments on all social media platforms (Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, and LinkedIn)
• Manage workflow of social posts and work with talent, social, and branded teams to coordinate posting and schedules
• This role will be expected to report to work in-person during the week in accordance with the Company's policies
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor's in communications, marketing, or related field
• At least 4-5 years of experience in social media development and implementing content and social media strategies
• Experience overseeing the creation and implementation of multi-asset, multi-platform media plans for editorial, branded, and promotional content
• Deep knowledge of major Social Media content platforms, including YouTube, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, TikTok, etc.
• Experience holding direct relationships with platform representatives a plus
• Impeccable communication skills including summarizing creative concepts, distilling large amounts of data, and building clear visual presentations
• Strong people management and organizational skills, and capability to multi-task across various projects
• Strong understanding of web and social media analytics; ability to define usable metrics, implement appropriate tracking, and create reports with actionable insights
• Ability to work effectively with stakeholders across numerous departments
• Familiarity with the world of entertainment, music, arts and culture
• Collaborative, team-oriented worker, with the initiative and professionalism needed to work independently when appropriate
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Preferred experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and other content creation tools
• Ability to create on-the-ground social content as needed
• Working knowledge of project management software such as Airtable, Jira, Monday, etc
• Forward-thinking social professional who refuses to be complacent in the ever-changing social landscape
• Ability to work occasional nights/weekends
$85,000 - $95,000 a year
