ROLE OVERVIEW:
SpringHill lifestyle brand is seeking an experienced, creative, detail-oriented Creative Producer/Director with a speciality in short and long form content creation with a background in brand integration who will be responsible for developing, producing, directing and overseeing post-production on several videos and shows across the SpringHill brand. The ideal candidate puts the unique style of forward thinking short & long form content creation first in order to empower our diverse style of storytelling and is fluent in all things lifestyle. You are comfortable on set, working hand in hand with talent, concepting ideas, client facing experience, writing scripts, budgets, shooting and working directly with editors. They have a strong passion for and understanding of all things entertainment - music, fashion, art, film, TV, etc - and can combine their passion and insights with brand strategy to influence opportunities that enable SpringHill to connect and engage with our audience. This team produces a lot of content at a quick pace, so the ability to juggle various projects at once is key. The individual that excels in the role thrives in working in a fast paced, nimble environment and loves being a jack of all trades alongside a highly collaborative cross-functional team of strategists, creatives, and editors. This role will report to the VP/ GM, SpringHill and work closely across several teams within The Springhill Co.
REPORTS TO:
VP/ GM, SpringHill
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Work alongside creative producers and our associate creative director to execute against editorial and RFP briefs and create highly engaging short and long form content for primary YouTube, secondary (Instagram, TikTok and YouTube) platforms
• Brainstorm and produce new content IP across our four pillars (Art, Entertainment, Fashion and Music)
• In partnership with Supervising Producer, maintain production schedules for assigned content. Work against project due dates and budgets to deliver as needed
• Be the creative advocate for SpringHill brand, sharing insights, data, and best practices, and breaking content and influencers with the rest of our teams
• Working in partnership with the Director of Social to analyze performance of content and optimize for future executions
• Advise on cultural and market trends, best practices, and more to inform the creative direction of our content and brand
• Drive a strong pov on projects publishing to our platforms to ensure all content fits overall creative tone, look, feel, and voice for each franchise and/or branded partner requirements
• In partnership with our ACD manage in-bound RFP creative, producing, directing and needs for branded content opportunities
• For RFP, responsible for answering the creative RFP, developing creative alongside our ACD in ensuring tone, look and feel is addressed through the lens of an Art Director
• Maintain a pipeline of emerging and best-in-class talent across production roles including third party vendors, editors, DPs, etc.
• Solicit, review, and incorporate feedback from cross-functional stakeholder team during pre-production, production, and post-production process
• Bring extensive industry knowledge and continuously stay in tune with market changes and opportunities
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Extensive knowledge of internet and culture is a must
• Prior experience working with talent and familiarity with production environments
• Hands-on production and editing skills
• Some proficiency with short and long form content production, from producing, editing and post-production work is preferable
• Experience in providing art direction, look and feel
• Experience creating original and engaging content for Instagram, Twitter & TikTok (preferably for brands and/or for significant personal following)
• Creative thinker who can identify emerging trends and bend them to a brand voice
• Ability to write and pitch ideas in a fast-paced environment plus a strong desire to own and shepherd a project from beginning to end
• Deep knowledge of multicultural entertainment, film, TV, music, and fashion
• Flexible and adaptable in the ever-changing digital landscape, ability to work nights and weekends when needed
• Deep interest and knowledge in social media and the newest updates and tools
• Good technical production skills in video, sound editing/design, and graphics, with a specialization in creating content for social
• Highly encouraged backgrounds include do-it-yourself creators, digital content/media experts, producers with a strong background in social, and people who have built personal brands
$120 - $120 a year
