The Screenwriting Life Podcast Production and Social Media Internship
The TSL Production team is seeking interns eager to learn about podcast production and have an interest in screenwriting and the entertainment industry. We encourage our interns to take an active role in their internship and propose self-guided projects based on their interests to support The Screenwriting Life Podcast. Basically, if you have ideas to improve the show, our marketing, brand, social media, we're all ears!
Given the small and intimate nature of the team, there will be ample opportunities to ask questions about screenwriting and the industry from everyone on the team. In addition to getting a behind the scenes look at a podcast production, interns will have access to all TSL workshops and live events during their internship.
Responsibilities:
Take detailed show notes during episode recordings and workshops.
Support Co-Producer with social content creation.
Track listener questions and maintain production tracking documents.
Support with TSL community communications as needed.
Weekly check-ins with Co-producer.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate is a self-starter, professional, detail-oriented, friendly, and fluent in Microsoft Excel & Word. A strong interest in the entertainment industry is a must. An understanding of project management tools like Asana, and previous experience with Squarespace and video editing programs like Premiere is a plus.
Requirements:
Candidates must be currently enrolled in a degree related program and eligible to receive school credit. This internship is unpaid and remote. Candidates must have reliable access to a computer/internet and be available to start April through August 2023 for at least 2 days per week.
