A busy, boutique Talent Management company is seeking a full-time assistant interested in learning the entertainment business and growing into a management role. We are looking for the right candidate to teach and groom into a junior manager position within our firm. This is a great opportunity for an individual to get in on the ground floor. Assistant must be comfortable working alongside the manager in her home office as well as remotely, often at Soho House in West Hollywood.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
-Managing and maintaining a busy personal and business calendar for manager and talent, including handling meeting scheduling, production calendars, coordinating events and activities.
-Managing travel: flights, hotel, restaurants and transportation for talent and manager (experience creating itineraries is preferred).
-Answering and directing a moderate volume of phone calls.
-Interacting with producers, casting directors and agency and brand representatives, network representatives, and other entertainment professionals.
-Managing talent contracts including tracking edits, filing and organization.
-Creating and organizing assets for pitches including decks, reels, headshots and bios.
Requirements:
-1 year of paid assistant experience preferred, but will consider entry level for the right candidate
-Excellent organization skills and extreme attention to detail.
-Proficient computer skills (Windows, Word, Outlook). Ability to use design programs to create decks and pitch materials preferred.
-Able to handle pressure in a professional manner.
-Able to exercise discretion when it comes to high profile talent.
-Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise.
-Entertainment experience preferred, but not required.
