Music Manager, Day to Day

Music Management firm, The RSE Group, is looking for an organized, detail-orientated day to day music manager as direct support for two senior managers. Must have passion for music, knowledge of touring and recording industry and prior experience in the music industry, preferably music management experience communicating directly with artists. TV/Film applicants need not apply. Passion for Hard Rock is a plus.

Basic duties include, but not limited to: scheduling press; maintaining calendars and itineraries; booking and coordinating travel; coordinating touring, radio, research; digital/new media updates and maintenance; update/maintain websites and social media pages; prepare and manage detailed budgets and much more.

Requirements: Passion to work in the music business, eager to learn, 24/7 attentiveness, good people skills, multi-tasking, self-starter that can take initiative and control, ability to shift gears quickly and follow-up. Would also prefer someone with ability to see big picture to manage an overall task when assigned. Must be strong in the digital and marketing areas and experience with online social networking communities. Must be savvy with Mac, Excel, and other common programs. Previous experience in management is required.
