This is a Part Time Paid Internship
Internship Start Date/Season: Now
Internship Duration: 3 Months
Time/Days Required: Up to 20 hours per week, 2-4 hours per day depending on applicant's availability
Workplace Requirements: Excellent writing skills, video editing (iMovie etc) is a plus
Our new hire can work with us at our home where we typically record our shows, or remotely from a personal phone or laptop, depending on your schedule and ours!
The Rick & Kelly Show is looking for a bright, talented and motivated intern to help with daily tasks including: responding to fan emails, organizing and processing sponsor requests, pulling quotes to share with news organizations, editing show teases and managing social media posts.
Rick & Kelly (Former Fox News Journalist Rick Leventhal & Former Real Housewife of Orange County Kelly Dodd) produce 7 shows weekly from their home or from the road when they travel, including The Daily Smash on YouTube (posted every morning at 1a PT), The Rick & Kelly Show on Patreon.com (at least once a week) and Recaps of Real Housewives franchises, including Orange County (wrapping in a couple weeks) and the upcoming Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
Our Daily Smash usually runs between 20 & 30 minutes long, including video inserts from our travels, meals, DIY projects & experiences.
Our RHOC and other Recaps are typically also 20-30 minutes in length and run each week the show airs on Bravo.
Our Rick & Kelly Show on Patreon is an hour long and often includes extended video clips and occasional long form interviews with artists, entertainers, influencers and friends with great stories to tell.
We get tens of thousands of views every day with tens of thousands of subscribers, many of whom comment and ask questions! We need help responding to comments & answering viewer questions but also need help organizing requests from sponsors, posting content to social media, distributing quotes to news & gossip outlets and cutting teases from our shows.
This is a job you could do from home or almost anywhere with a phone and laptop but you ABSOLUTELY need to be a talented and proficient writer. Bad grammar or spelling is unacceptable and applicants WILL BE REQUIRED to sign a NON DISCLOSURE AGREEMENT (NDA).
