Office Assistant (Temporary)
The Refinery is an award-winning entertainment advertising agency located in Sherman Oaks. We work with all of the major studios producing creative digital, A/V and print campaigns for theatrical properties and television/streaming content.

Enough about us, here’s what we’re looking for:
We are seeking a proactive and organized Temporary Office Assistant to immediately assist with various office coordination tasks. This position requires a candidate who is comfortable with occasional physical labor and has excellent coordination and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
• You will work with our current Office Assistant to pack and arrange furniture, tech, and other items to assist with our current office move (to be completed by July 1)
• Work closely with movers to ensure a smooth transition
• Perform physical labor, including the ability to lift 25 lbs comfortably
• Select the most cost-effective delivery and pickup services that provide appropriate safety and care based on the contents (e.g., courier, Uber, in-house)
• Schedule and monitor deliveries and pickups to ensure timely and secure handling
• Assemble and maintain an updated list of client gifts
• Send daily email reminders to Business Development team members
• Coordinate the creation and delivery of personalized gifts for clients
• Order physical gifts upon request and ensure timely delivery
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
• Previous experience in an office environment is a plus
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Comfortable with occasional physical labor, including lifting up to 25 lbs
• Proficient in office software (Microsoft Office Suite)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail and a proactive attitude
Additional Information:
• This is a temporary position with a duration of ~4-6 weeks
• Must be able to reliably commute to Sherman Oaks and Burbank, CA
• Must be able to handle confidential information with discretion
• Typical working hours are 9:30am-6:30pm, but can fluctuate depending on project needs
Salary Range:
$18-$20/hr
