Motion Graphics Artist

The Refinery is an award-winning entertainment advertising agency located in Sherman Oaks. We work with all of the major studios producing creative digital, A/V and print campaigns for theatrical properties and television/streaming content.

Enough about us, here’s what we’re looking for:

Responsibilities

• You will execute a design and animation from a set of storyboards, while also bringing your creative vision to the table
• Work constructively with art directorial, editorial, account management, producers, or other team members, as applicable
• Demonstrate knowledge and usage of a wide variety of typography
• Understand and use appropriate templates, toolkits, and other standard motion graphic design projects either internally created or provided by clients

Requirements
• Advanced level proficiency as an animator in After Effects as well as Cinema 4D
• Knowledge of Redshift render engine
• Proven cinematic design sensibility and ability to make a visual connection to the project narrative
• Ability and willingness to take project from concept through final delivery

Typical working hours are 10am - 7pm PST. Project duration is ~1 month from start date (needed ASAP).

Salary Range

$500 - $700 USD per day

Rate offered will be dependent on factors such as one's qualifications, years of relevant experience and skillset.
