The Positive Identity is a philanthropic social advocacy organization rooted in racial justice work. We create our own content and also lift up the positive things folks from all different communities are doing to dismiss the mainstream media's vilification of our most marginalized communities. Our goal is to change the publics perception and create unity through our work. At this pivotal time in history, we are currently looking for an Intern to join our team to help run our social media, lifting up positive stories and promoting our own original projects! This will be a remote position with the possibility of being on set, taking all the proper precautions to keep everyone safe during this time per the CDC/State guidelines. Our intern will develop their marketing and communication skills by creating content that best engages our followers across all platforms, while also strategizing how to best reach new audiences. This internship will require 10 hours of work per week, starting 06/21/21 and ending 08/15/21. We look forward to working with you!
