A/V & Lighting Live Event Technician

Events company looking for audio, video, and lighting engineers, technicians, and stagehands to join our production team

Responsibilities:

Prep, set up, troubleshoot, operate, strike, and repair audio visual, lighting, and effects equipment
Ensure proper care and handling of all company and rental A/V/L equipment
Handle the load-in, load-out, and operation of production vehicles including box trucks with lift gates
Assist Production Director in supervising stagehands by taking lead on assigned tasks
Interact with clients and other vendors throughout the production process to guarantee event success
Help maintain an organized and efficient warehouse by tracking, teching, and correctly storing inventory
Specific Measures of Success:

>90% positive post-event reports from crew members, clients, and colleagues
>95% of events set up and operational on-time according to production schedule
Maintain a safe and compliant working environment at all times
Qualifications:

This role requires two (2) years of live event production experience or an equivalent combination of audio, video, and/or lighting education and experience. Knowledge of and experience with Flex Rental Solutions is preferred. The AVL Technician should have reliable transportation, be able to work in an environment with moderate to loud noise level and extreme lighting changes including strobing, and be able to lift up to 50-100 lbs.
