THE JOB
The Pavilion at Star Lake is seeking someone who will be responsible for the overall management of all cleaning functions in the venue to ensure a clean, safe, and orderly experience for the guest.
WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
• Assist department manager in executing the setup and tear down of 100% of the venue's assets for all events - Chairs, tables, tents, signage, etc.
• Keep work areas neat and orderly, clean equipment and assist with other cleaning duties as assigned.
• Duties include, but are not limited to, pressure washing, fire hosing/washing of the entire venue
• Assist with venue projects, including but not limited to, painting, construction, building repairs, plumbing and electrical
• Use a variety of hand and power tools and material handling equipment in performing duties.
• Detect faulty mechanical, electrical and structural issues, and report those and any unusual situations to manager .
• Perform opening/running/closing duties according to Live Nation policy .
• If applicable, driving forklift and/or other company vehicles and complete all required tasks that fall under those positions.
• Groundskeeping including mowing, trimming, weed clean up and trash removal
• Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
• Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.
• Participate in the venue's sustainability program which could include implementing programs that conserve resources/prevent waste such as sorting waste and collecting recycling and educating our fans about our efforts.
• Partner with fellow crew members at the end of show to close the venue - this includes collecting recyclables from the lawn and/or reserved section, picking up and properly storing event equipment such as lawn chairs, barricade, Etc.
• Comply with safety regulations.
• Hours may vary during the summer months
• Position requires you to be able to work during all weather conditions since this is an outside venue.
• Additional tasks as requested by management.
WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite
• Attention to detail, quality and accuracy
• Cash handling skills
• Strong relationship building and communication skills
• Ability to work independently
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Position requires constant walking, climbing stairs, lifting and carrying 50 lbs+ and occasional sitting.
