Internship Start Date/Season: Fall
Internship Duration: September - December (option to extend through Spring)
Time/Days Required: Monday - Saturday, 1-2 hours a day
Workplace Requirements: Hybrid with the option to be 100% remote. Very flexible with this; if you prefer to work and collaborate in-person, we can do that; if you need to be remote, we can accommodate that, as well!
Thank you for your interest in the Internship at Parr Method. We are small startup entertainment education firm based in Los Angeles, CA. We are looking to cultivate the future of music industry through Creativity, Innovation, and Excellence. We are doing this by bringing over 30 years of success in the music industry to artists, writers, and creatives who are looking to create their own lane in this industry.
This is an opportunity to gain real-world experience in the entertainment industry. Responsibility includes assisting management and educator in day to day activities such as event planning, PR, social media, content creation, research, and promotion. The nature of this business is multi-faceted and our interns will be taking on a variety of diverse tasks. We work as a team leaning into your best skills and joys moving the needle forward as a team - each one playing their part to elevate the whole. Be bright, personable, hardworking, and eager to learn.
Our ideal Intern will possess the following skills:
- Must be passionate about Music and the Entertainment Industry
- Must be a forward thinker
- Must be able to manage task and deadlines without constant supervision
- Must be willing to share ideas that will compliment or better the task at hand
- Must be willing to follow detailed instructions
- Strong communication skills verbal, email and text.
- Open and eager to learn
We want this to be a mutually beneficial relationship for our interns so we will offer hands on experience, mentorship, and coaching related to the individual interns aspirations. Must have a passion for music, or film, pop culture, and creativity. Be at least 18 years of age with a high maturity level and deep personal integrity. Professional attitude with great time management and organizational skills. Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced role. Work well remotely/independently without direct supervision. - Film interns must be familiar with documentary work and have camera/audio experience.
- Proficient with essential office computer programs, particularly Word, No Code
- Have discretion and be willing to sign a strict non-disclosure agreement (we will ask you to sign this upon the first interview)
