Intern - Talent Agency

This is a Part Time Unpaid Internship

The Mine is a NYC talent agency representing actors for theatre, TV, and film. We are currently looking for someone who can commit to 2 or 3 days a week to start by the end of September. General hours for interns are from 11 AM - 6 PM. PLEASE MAKE SURE TO PUT YOUR AVAILABILITY IN YOUR APPLICATION.

Qualified applicants should be organized, smart, enthusiastic, and have a passion for the entertainment business. Good sense of humor a must.

The Mine has actors in more than 20 top Broadway shows, including The King and I, Book of Mormon, Wicked, Les Miserables, and more. Our clients are featured in numerous NY episodics and feature films, such as Orange is the New Black, Law & Order: SVU, The Good Wife, and more. Come learn the ins and outs of the industry.

During your time at the Mine, you will work hands-on with our agents. We pride ourselves on providing our interns with a deep understanding of how the business functions. Previous interns have gone on to jobs in both casting and talent agencies throughout the city.

Duties include: preparing electronic and hardcopy submissions, project research, general office duties, calling/emailing clients, and more. Computer skills are a must.

Candidates should be able to start ASAP and make a 3-4 month commitment. Though this is an unpaid position, interns are often offered free tickets to shows and invitations to industry events. Schedules can be flexible, but we prefer someone who can be here from 11:00am-6:00pm at least two days a week. School credit is available, if applicable.
