Search for Paid Intern - Junior Motion Designer jobs in Burbank-CA
Seeking an entry-level Junior Motion Designer to support the A/V team's day-to-day design and production needs. This is a full-time paid internship for 3 months, with potential for fulltime employment at conclusion. You'll learn our creative and technical process and work alongside our motion design directors and in collaboration with the whole talented team. This is a great opportunity to learn the ins and outs of the industry from a seasoned mentor - you'll enhance your design skills, practice your creative problem-solving and expand your knowledge in motion graphics, graphic design, and editorial.
The Junior Motion Designer will report to the A/V team and assist on projects including (but not limited to):
• OOH/Digital Display
• Social & Digital Content
• Motion Posters
• Trailer GFX
• Storyboard Production
DAY TO DAY DUTIES INCLUDE
• General AV and Design Team assist
• Preparing assets for A/V workflow, including project preps and asset organization
• Learning new skills and growing your abilities within the company
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
• Basic roto
• Render wrangling
• Research: Be our go to for the latest trends in design, advertising, and social content
• Offer fresh, unique concepts for new campaigns and join team brainstorms
REQUIREMENTS
• 0-2 years professional experience
• Eager to learn
• Problem solver and self-starter
• Working & proficient knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite with focus on AfterEffects and Premiere. Cinema 4D a plus!
• Portfolio demonstrating excellent core design skills (color, layout, typography)
• Strict attention to detail and workflow
• Time management and multitasking ability
• Ability to be flexible and prioritize tasks based on ever-changing deadlines
• Capacity to take direction and embrace constructive criticism
• MUST thrive in a teamwork oriented and deadline driven environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
