STATUS: Full Time LOCATION: 6363 Sunset Blvd. Number of Employees Supervised: 30 OVERVIEW The goal of The Los Angeles Film School is to prepare the next generation of creative professionals for a future in the entertainment industry. We are seeking a Program Manager (PM) for our Campus and Online Entertainment Business degree programs. This is an administrative position based in Los Angeles, CA. The Entertainment Business Program Manager (PM) is responsible for assisting the Entertainment Business Senior Program Director (SPD) in the day to day operations of the Campus and Online Entertainment Business Programs, including all communication and interaction with Students, Faculty, Staff, while managing projects aimed at improving the overall experience of our students and the efficiency of how our campus and online programs function. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist SPD with providing guidance and mentorship for students throughout the degree lifecycle.
- Assist SPD in hiring and training of new education department faculty and staff and ensure accreditation documentation is up to date.
- Review course evaluations and identify areas that require focus.
- Assist SPD in supervision of the writing, development, and maintenance of program curriculum and maintain files with course syllabi and training materials.
- Assist SPD in managing program budgets and expenses.
- Assist SPD in creating & managing all compliance reports.
- Maintenance of faculty, course, and compliance records.
- Assist SPD with determining monthly staffing needs and instructor teaching assignments.
- Training, roll-out and management of special projects.
- Coordinate with Operations and Facilities departments to ensure equipment maintenance.
- Assist with training and supervision of any Work Study.
- Serve as back-up support if the SPD is unavailable.
- Work with the Career Development Department to ensure graduate employment benchmarks are met.
- Perform other duties, as assigned by the Senior Program Director. ENVIRONMENT

- Support company policies, initiatives, and processes to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
- Create and nurture an atmosphere of cooperation and the pursuit of a common goal within the degree program as well as when interacting with other departments
- Recommend campus technology that is appropriate and up to date, and confirm that existing equipment is in good working order
- Ensure positive, constructive, and efficient communication with all managers within the company as necessary REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS
- Bachelor's Degree in business, management, marketing, media, entertainment, music, or a related field required; Master's Degree preferred.
- Must have at least 4+ years related professional experience in the entertainment industry.
- Teaching and/or educational administration experience required.
- Extremely competent with Apple and Microsoft computers and applications.
- Extreme competence with web-based applications, databases, and systems.
- Excellent organizational skills and strategic thinking skills.
- Excellent communication abilities, both verbal and written.
- Positive attitude, a desire to help others, and a passion for educating.
