Leading entertainment public relations firm seeks full-time Assistant for its television/corporate entertainment practice. The role will be responsible for supporting President and SVP, Entertainment with general administrative tasks such as: rolling calls, clip reports, research, maintaining press lists, scheduling, proofing documents, itineraries, expense reports, etc. Previous entertainment publicity/communications experience (including internships) is required.
The ideal candidate must thrive in a fast-paced working environment and be able to work on multiple tasks simultaneously.
The perfect candidate will also have:
• A passion to learn the ins and outs of television/entertainment public relations/publicity
• Strong writing/editing skills: experience writing synopses/pitches/press releases is a HUGE plus
• Strong Microsoft Office skills
• Knowledge of social media platforms and how to use them
• Ability to contribute to creative pitches/campaigns for clients
• Should be a sensible team player with a positive ''can-do'' attitude and who isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves and get to work--no task is too big or small
• Ability to work evenings/weekends, when needed
• Can start ASAP
BACHELOR'S DEGREE REQUIRED: Communications, Journalism, English, PR major preferred.
