Full Time Job
We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated production assistant to support our video production team for The Hollywood Reporter and Billboard in Los Angeles. The ideal candidate is someone enthusiastic about TV, film, music and popular culture.
What You'll Do:
• Invoice collection and submission, tracking and regular follow up on payments
• Generate and track all contractor agreements for freelancers
• Arrange department shipments and messenger services
• Organize and execute expense reports
• Assist production schedule tracking
• Assist producers with shoots by researching locations, arranging catering, starting call sheets and estimates
• Occasionally attend large scale productions with producers
• Vendor sourcing and updating production books
• Travel coordination and booking
• Editorial and asset research
• Keep production databases up to date
• Support upload, title, tagging of videos
• Office & meeting support
Your Experience & Skills:
• Bachelor's Degree. 1-2 years of production experience
• Proficiency with Mac computers
• Proficiency Microsoft Office, Google Docs, Adobe Photoshop. Knowledge of Adobe Premiere a plus
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. You will be interfacing with all levels of staff and management
• Must be organized and have excellent attention to detail
• Must have the ability to adapt to quick-moving schedules and be available for last-minute requests. Occasional nights and weekends required.
• Must meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Knowledge of film, television, and music worlds are a plus
